Job Description
Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Legal Secretary for the Los Angeles, CA office. The Legal Secretary will work with a dynamic team providing support with preparation of correspondence, pleadings, documents, and other legal tasks.
Requirements
- Maintain electronic case files and update as needed
- Assist with preparation/revision of correspondence, pleadings, and documents
- Maintain and review attorney calendars to assist attorneys with filing deadlines
- Complete monthly expense reports for assigned attorneys
- Book and organize travel arrangements
- Prepare notebooks and proofreading of documents
- Run conflict checks and open new client engagements
- Handle a wide variety of complex and confidential, time-sensitive material
