Assistant Chief Engineer

The Assistant Chief Engineer will oversee the efficient, safe, and responsible operation of all building systems and equipment while leading the engineering team. The role involves supervising contractors, implementing maintenance programs, and training team members.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance)
• Washington 07 license preferred
• Leadership and/or supervisory experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive
• Strong customer service and communication skills
