Director of Health Services (RN)

Director of Health Services (RN) leads the implementation of health and wellness services in the community, oversees the care team, and ensures quality care for residents. Must have a Certified RN, LPN, or LVN license, prior related work experience, and management or supervisory experience.

Requirements

• Conduct and coordinate potential resident assessments
• Draft initial service plans for new residents
• Conduct routinely scheduled re-assessments and change of condition assessments
• Ensure continuity of residents' total wellness
• Recruit, interview, hire, manage, schedule, motivate, coach, train, evaluate and supervise department staff
• Perform all administrative duties accurately and timely
• Coordinate prescription orders with doctors' offices and pharmacy delivery of medications
• Oversee the central storage, tracking and delivery of medications
• Ensure all medication records administration are completed per guidelines and State regulations
• Aid in the community marketing effort through positive interactions
• Key management member acting as Manager on Duty when necessary
• Attend all regional and required department head meetings and trainings
