Mechanical Engineer II

Role Overview

We are looking for a hard-working, innovative mechanical engineer with at least 3 years of experience to design, analyze, and test complex subsystem and rugged server designs. The role involves collaborating with other disciplines, taking products from concept design to production release, and conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical hardware and/or systems for use in rugged military applications.

What You Will Do

Design, analyze, and test complex subsystem and rugged server designs, including mechanical packaging design, printed wiring board layout, and environmental testing. Collaborate with other disciplines, take products from concept design to production release, and conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical hardware and/or systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering or other related technical field
• At least 3 years experience
• An understanding of heat transfer and thermal management
• General knowledge of both conventional manufacturing techniques and advanced manufacturing, such as additive manufacturing
• Experience with 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks
• Familiarity with material control processes and documentation
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
• Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools
