
Job description
Mercury Systems is seeking a dynamic senior mechanical engineer to design, analyze, and test rugged subsystems and complex PCB assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and is driven to translate innovative ideas into impactful, mission-ready solutions.
Lead products through the full lifecycle, perform mechanical engineering activities, collaborate with cross-functional partners, develop and maintain Bills of Material, draft and manage Engineering Change Requests, conceptualize and design mechanical hardware, conduct thermal and structural analysis, and create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, experience with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, Y14.100, and proficiency with 3D CAD software. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate design concepts, and produce clear product documentation.
