Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Sous Chef/First Head Chef to join our Michelin Star restaurant in Canterbury, UK. The role involves supporting the Executive Chef and running the kitchen in their absence. Ideal candidate will have experience in high-end restaurant operations, Michelin or rosette experience, and be a strong leader with excellent organizational and technical skills.
Requirements
- Experience in a senior capacity in high-end restaurant operations
- Michelin or rosette experience
- Good experience of cooking with game, butcher, sustainability, and foraging
- Ability to motivate, train, and develop staff
- Highly organized
- Technically very capable
- Flexible and positive approach to work
Benefits
- Starting salary £32-35k per annum
