Requirements
- Prepare recipes according to the Daily Prep List each shift
- Ensure freshness and quality of all prepared foods
- Prepare soups, cornbread, biscuits, and refill items as needed
- Properly store and rotate leftover food to prevent spoilage
- Test food temperatures at required intervals
- Fill and maintain the cold line with prepared vegetables
- Cover for cooks during breaks when necessary
- Report any equipment or food quality issues promptly to management
- Notify manager immediately of any product shortages
- Follow Mother’s Market safety and sanitation guidelines
- Keep work areas clean and compliant with Health Department regulations
- Participate in all scheduled employee meetings
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service
