Backend Engineer/Fullstack

Role Overview

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

What You Will Do

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong experience in any high-level programming language (Python, Java)
• Experience designing/developing REST APIs
• Experience in Test Driven Development
• Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals, including scalability, availability, and fault-tolerance
• Understanding of database systems, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, or Google Pub/Sub
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring & alerting tools like New Relic, ELK, Grafana
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
