Associate Director, M&A

We are looking for a driven, hard-working, modelling-guru with the demonstrated potential to become a future leader for the Perseus Operating Group at Constellation Software. The Associate Director of M&A will support the Vice President of M&A throughout the entire M&A life cycle from lead generation through to closing transactions.

Requirements

• 5 years of progressive work experience at a top tier accounting, capital advisory, investment banking, management consulting, transaction services and/or private equity firm
• 2-3 years of mid-market deal experience executing transactions
• Experience working with small owner-managed businesses as a client/target
• CPA, CA designation / CFA / and/or MBA are considered assets
• Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills (both verbal & written) with an emphasis on relationships, report writing, and research analysis
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and exceptional Financial Modelling skills
• Ability to work variable hours and travel when required to close transactions
• Confidence and polish is required for frequent interaction with Senior Executives, Business Owners, Investment Bankers, Lawyers, Accountants, and other key Stakeholders
