Job Description
Printpack, a privately-held packaging manufacturer, seeks an Associate General Counsel with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and experience in corporate/transactional law. The successful candidate will provide hands-on counsel to all levels of the organization, structuring and negotiating complex agreements, and working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives while managing legal risk.
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Experience practicing corporate/transactional law, preferably in both firm and in-house settings
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Ability to develop strong relationships with individuals across a diverse company
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and effectively juggle competing priorities
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to devise pragmatic, creative solutions for problems, opportunities, and business strategies
- Prior experience providing substantive/technical legal advice and support to the senior management team and business leaders
- Familiarity with the UCC and transactions for the purchase and sale of goods
