Raising The Village is a dynamic, rapidly growing international development organization dedicated to eradicating ultra-poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Project Assistant will be responsible for supporting project management, government-led implementation oversight, reporting and coordination, supervision, coaching, and team leadership.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local dialects (kinyambo and Kihaya) is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational, facilitation, and leadership skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams
• High integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude in fast-paced and challenging field settings
• Physically able to work in rural and high-terrain environments
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
• Ability to ride a motorbike in remote settings
