Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for account management activities, including overseeing and managing client relationships, pipeline management, and closing contracts. This role requires knowledge of the construction process and experience in construction, estimating, supervision, and/or project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and work effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

What You Will Do

Prepare and execute ongoing business development action plans, perform research to identify potential customers and projects, manage client relationships, and assist with pre-construction activities. The Business Development Manager will also attend industry events, plan and host exhibit booths, and participate in travel to client locations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the construction process
• Experience in construction, estimating, supervision, and/or project management
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others
