Human Resources Generalist

Role Overview

This is a fully on-site position supporting a fast-paced manufacturing and life sciences operation. The HR Generalist will engage in both strategic and tactical human resources functions for Sharp Packaging Services Conshohocken Campus and ensure compliance with all corporate related policies as well as all applicable government laws and regulations.

What You Will Do

Maintains constant awareness of general employee issues/concerns and recommends solutions to management. Actively interprets, implements and guides on policies and procedures. Represents the HR function in advising management of employee-relation issues and recommends proper resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge
• Minimum 3-6 years Human Resources Generalist experience
• HR Generalist experience should include employee relations, leave administration, payroll, HRIS and recruitment
• Manufacturing or similar work environment experience is strongly preferred
• Prior experience in change management in implementing programs, policies and/or similar changes within an organization highly preferred
• Must have a thorough understanding of, and the application of, employment and labor laws
• Prior experience working in a union environment preferred
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills are desired
• Prior experience with Workday preferred
