As a Workplace Mental Health Consultant, you will provide management consultations, trainings, critical incident response, and assessment and referral mental health support to employees at a combined multinational pharmaceutical and medical technical healthcare company.
Requirements
- Must hold a Diploma in Psychology (Psicólogo/a) from a university officially recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
- Must be actively registered with a Regional Council of Psychology (CRP); while a single CRP registration permits nationwide telehealth, a secondary license is strictly required for providing in-person services across two or more jurisdictions.
- Have training and experience delivering management consultation, critical incident response, and workplace trainings or presentations.
- Have experience using evidence-based approaches, including short-term, solution-focused therapy.
- Be able to respond quickly and appropriately to employees experiencing panic attacks, anxiety, or other forms of distress onsite, providing stabilization, safety planning, and connection to care when needed.
- Be comfortable educating both managers and employees on mental health awareness, early intervention, and how to access available support resources.
- Proactively promote Spring Health services and help employees understand the full range of available support, including therapy, coaching, and workplace consultation.
- Be committed to accurate, timely documentation of service delivery and be able to summarize interactions in English within Spring Health’s online documentation systems.
- Be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a broader care team, including other clinicians and Spring Health clinical care navigators.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with employees, leaders, and organizational partners.
- Navigate workplace environments with professionalism and sensitivity, including settings that may involve union representation or complex organizational dynamics.
- Be proactive in supporting the workplace by identifying emerging needs, building relationships across teams, and creating opportunities for engagement rather than waiting for issues to arise.
- Acknowledge and embrace diversity and inclusion among teams and clients.
- Be comfortable supporting workplace engagement activities such as trainings, informational sessions, and tabling events.
- Have flexibility to travel to multiple sites as needed.
- Be comfortable using technology and be competent providing support through telehealth platforms.
