Design Systems Engineer – Engines

Role Overview

The Design Systems Engineer (DSE) - Engines is responsible for coordinating the technical aspects of base engine design to achieve customer requirements, functional objectives and quality targets.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include execution and compliance to the Stellantis Propulsion System Development Process (PDSP), approval and execution of engine mechanical development/validation plans, and leading global cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, minimum eight years of propulsion system related engineering experience, and strong cross-functional team management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related degree field
• Minimum eight years of propulsion system related engineering and/or calibration experience
• Understanding of phased gated launch processes for product development
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to and prepare presentations for executive leadership
• Strong cross functional team management skills along with superior written and oral skills
