
Job description
The Business Development Manager will be a key member of the Power & Energy Solutions (PES) Business Development team, responsible for originating and advancing non-regulated growth opportunities across the PES portfolio. The role requires commercial acumen, skills, and judgment to originate, evaluate, and progress capital investment opportunities that align with PES strategic priorities and enterprise objectives.
Originate, develop, and implement business development strategies, identify and screen potential business development opportunities, support or lead negotiations, and develop and present business cases and investment opportunities.
The position offers regular interaction with senior leadership, engagement with external partners and counterparties, and the opportunity to influence investment and commercial decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong business and commercial acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority and work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
