Job Description
The Doe Fund is seeking a Case Manager/Mental Health Counselor for The Crystal-Towers Residence. The successful candidate will provide supportive case management services to residents funded by HASA, with strong clinical and communication skills and an understanding of working with the HIV/AIDS population.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
- License in Clinical Social Work and LMSW or LMHC
- At least one year of experience working with people who are homeless, living with HIV/AIDS, have substance abuse histories, or suffer from mental illness
- At least 5 years of experience in the mental health field
- Knowledge of benefits in the New York City Metro area, HIV/AIDS, psychiatric diagnoses, substance abuse, and mental health issues
- Solid computer skills – internet, Microsoft Office, and charting database
- Great organizational, writing, and communication skills
