The Doe Fund is a leading New York City non-profit organization seeking a Case Manager/Mental Health Counselor for its Webster permanent supportive housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
- license in Clinical Social Work and LMSW or LMHC
- at least 1 year of experience working with people who are homeless, living with HIV/AIDS, have substance abuse histories, or suffer from mental illness
- at least 5 years of experience in the mental health field
- knowledge of benefits in the New York City Metro area, HIV/AIDS, psychiatric diagnoses, substance abuse, and mental health issues
- solid computer skills – internet, Microsoft Office, and charting database
- great organizational, writing, and communication skills
