Job Description
We're looking for a Mortgage Underwriter to accurately underwrite and complete mortgage and secured loan applications, ensuring minimal risk to the business and the right customer outcome. As an Underwriter, you will assess higher value and complex cases, provide mortgage offers, and identify potential fraud.
Requirements
- Previous underwriting experience
- Ability to make positive lending decisions on business unusual cases
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Experience of dealing with customers
- Possess strong objection handling and problem solving skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
