SM Aboriginal Strategy & Advancement

This permanent position involves setting the strategic direction and activating the delivery of the Aboriginal Outcomes Framework, providing strategic advice and project management, and leading a team to design and deliver advancement and strategy materials. The role requires a strong understanding of Aboriginal strategy, policy, and reform, as well as experience in co-design and partnering with Aboriginal communities and organisations. The position is governed by a hybrid working model, with a combination of onsite and remote working.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• Relevant expertise in Aboriginal strategy, policy, and reform
• Strong record of co-design and partnering with Aboriginal communities, organisations, and peak bodies
• Proven leadership of delivering scheduled and responsive initiatives
• Strong understanding of the legislative and policy landscape
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
