Vice President - Business Development

We are seeking a Vice President - Business Development to originate and close new business, while shaping how Understory goes to market. As a frontline, externally facing position, you will be responsible for hunting, influencing, and winning in complex, consultative sales environments.

Requirements

• Proven track record of new business generation in insurance, reinsurance, or insurtech
• Deep experience working with brokers, MGAs, or commercial insureds, and a strong existing network
• Ability to sell consultatively and navigate ambiguous, evolving products and markets
• Executive presence and the ability to engage senior decision-makers with confidence and credibility
