6011-10 Assistant Residential Group Home Manager

Venture Community Services provides support to individuals facing diverse challenges through a compassionate and dedicated workforce using innovative practices that encourage independence, empowerment, and opportunity. The Assistant Residential Group Home Manager reports to the Residential House Manager and is responsible for the general daily care of program individual/service recipients and primary program service delivery.

Requirements

• Associates degree preferred and one year experience in a residential program.
• Must be 21+ years old, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required) and be available by telephone for daily contact.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work a flexible schedule to include overtime, sleepover coverage (2-4 nights weekly), and night awake coverage as needed.
• Ability to identify report and follow instructions and manage priorities, maintain effective time management skills, collaborate with Residential House Manager on all necessary issues.
• Collaborate with Residential House Manager on all necessary issues, ability to maintain effective time management skills, ability to identify report and follow instructions and manage priorities, ability to advocate and establish rapport with the disabled population, their families and co-workers, and service providers.
