626-07 Assistant Residential Group Home Manager

Venture Community Services provides support to individuals facing diverse challenges through a compassionate and dedicated workforce using innovative practices that encourage independence, empowerment, and opportunity. The Assistant Residential Group Home Manager will work in Framingham, MA and be responsible for the daily care of program individuals, primary program service delivery, and development of ISP's, behavior plans, and assessments.

Requirements

• Associates degree preferred and one year experience in a residential program
• Must be 21+ years old, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required) and be available by telephone for daily contact
• Ability to identify report and follow instructions and manage priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include overtime, sleepover coverage (2-4 nights weekly), and night awake coverage as needed
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Actions should reflect judgment that would not jeopardize the health and safety of the individual
• Ability to maintain effective time management skills
• Ability to advocate and establish rapport with the disabled population, their families and co-workers, and service providers
