Assembler

Role Overview

Assemblers perform a variety of tasks at Wabash, including installing subassemblies, assembling component parts, and operating heavy machinery. They work in a production environment with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Assemblers must be able to communicate effectively with fellow employees and wear personal protective equipment.

What You Will Do

The Assembler will be responsible for tasks such as measuring, cutting, and caulking materials, installing rivets, and operating heavy machinery. They will also be required to follow decal templates and blueprints, and install signs, reflectors, fenders, and other associated parts.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, have basic reading, writing, and verbal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Experience and education are a plus, but not required. Wabash provides training for all assembler positions.
