Maintenance Planner

Role Overview

The Maintenance Planner will create maintenance job plans, identify procedures, materials, and labor requirements, and provide technical advice to millwrights. This role will interact with all operating groups and the Maintenance Department, and require a strong mechanical background with emphasis on planning and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do

Create maintenance job plans, gather information, catalogue data into the CMMS database, follow up on accuracy, analyze and track maintenance planning effectiveness, and provide technical advice to millwrights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of planning experience in an industrial environment
• Cement process knowledge
• Strong mechanical background
• Proficient in predictive and preventative maintenance
• Ability to identify parts, tools, manpower requirements, and estimate completion times for work orders
• Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Cost awareness
• Proficient in CMMS systems
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
