
Job description
As a Business Development Representative, you will drive business growth by supporting the Business Development team with client engagement, proposal development, and order placement. You will work with the Business Development team to develop a plan to proactively identify new clients, engage with new and existing clients, and develop new opportunities. You will collaborate with stakeholders from all EDS service pillars to create a value proposition based on client need and EllisDon's portfolio.
You will support Business Development activities such as presentations, emails, and video conferencing. You will ensure active client engagement and be accountable for all aspects of proposal management and RFP submissions. You will develop and actively track a sales pipeline in the CRM, with monthly reporting to management summarizing revenue-generating activities.
This role requires 5 years of professional work experience in managing proposals, inside sales, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. You must have a minimum of 5 years of business/sales experience and technology sales experience is a must. Strong process skills, writing and proofreading skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required.
