Hirebase vs BlitzAPI: which job data API is better?
BlitzAPI is a B2B data API for sales teams: people, emails, phones, companies, and job postings collected from LinkedIn. Hirebase is a job data API built from employers' own career pages. We tested both against Stripe's and Ramp's live careers boards on October 29, 2026.

- Pick Hirebase: for the jobs that are open now, with full descriptions, salaries and the employer's apply link. It matched every open Stripe and Ramp job and returned no closed ones.
- Pick BlitzAPI: for a cheap “who's hiring” signal from LinkedIn, sold with people, emails and phones. $99 covers 200,000 records.
- Watch out: BlitzAPI's jobs have no open or closed status. Searching Ramp's last 90 days, 29% of the roles it returned had already closed.
Side by side, as of October 2026.

What stands out.
- Getting a job back is not the hard part. Knowing it is still open is. BlitzAPI's jobs carry no open or closed field, so its search filters by how long ago a job was posted.
- A longer window finds more and returns more closed roles. For Ramp, BlitzAPI found 33% of the open roles over 30 days, 75% over 90 days and 90% over a year. Of the roles it returned, 8%, 29% and 68% were no longer on Ramp's board.
- One open role comes back as 2 to 3 postings. LinkedIn lists a role once per city and once per repost, and BlitzAPI returns each one: 824 postings for 332 open Stripe roles over 30 days.
- New roles are a tie. Of the 14 roles Ramp published in the week before our test, Hirebase had 14 and BlitzAPI 13.
- Per record, BlitzAPI is cheaper. $99 buys 200,000 BlitzAPI records against 25,000 Hirebase jobs. That holds even after counting 2 to 3 postings per open role.

This is the Hirebase half of our test: it scores Hirebase against Ramp's own Ashby board, by job ID. For BlitzAPI, match its results on job title instead, since its records carry LinkedIn links rather than the employer's job IDs.

Hirebase vs BlitzAPI: common questions
- Where does BlitzAPI get its job postings?
- From LinkedIn: every job link in our test pointed to a LinkedIn job page. BlitzAPI says it holds 100M+ job postings. Hirebase reads employers' career pages and 80+ ATS platforms, so jobs link straight to the employer's posting.
- Does BlitzAPI remove closed jobs?
- Its job search filters by how many days ago a job was posted and returns no open or closed field. For Ramp, a 90-day search found 75% of the open roles, and 29% of the roles it returned had already closed. Hirebase removes closed jobs every hour.
- Is BlitzAPI cheaper than Hirebase?
- Per record, yes: $99 buys 200,000 records on BlitzAPI and 25,000 jobs on Hirebase, and records also cover people, emails and phones. A BlitzAPI record is one posting, though, and in our test it took 2 to 3 postings per open role found, before setting aside closed ones.
- How did you test them?
- On October 29, 2026 we pulled every open job from Stripe's Greenhouse board and Ramp's Ashby board, then asked both APIs for each company's jobs. Hirebase was matched by job ID and by title, BlitzAPI by title only, since its records carry LinkedIn links.
- Can I use both?
- Yes. A common split is Hirebase for the job postings themselves and BlitzAPI for finding and reaching the people at those companies.
The short answer.
Choose Hirebase for the jobs that are actually open, in full, straight from the employer. Choose BlitzAPI for a low-cost LinkedIn hiring signal when you also want people and contact data from the same API.
Sources and method
Hirebase is our product. On October 29, 2026 we read BlitzAPI's own pricing and docs pages, then tested both APIs against Stripe's Greenhouse board and Ramp's Ashby board, the employers' own lists of open jobs. Hirebase was matched by job ID and by title; BlitzAPI by title, since its records carry LinkedIn links rather than employer job IDs. Title matching misses some renamed roles. Per-record prices are our math on BlitzAPI's list prices. Spotted something out of date? Email [email protected].
